Levels 4 and 5

 

At level 4 the coach extends their coaching practice skills and knowledge and also begins to refine, and integrate their own skills and attributes in relation to the coaching practice.

At level 5 the coach consistently refines and integrates their own skills and attributes whilst continuing to remain up to date with emerging skills and knowledge relevant to the core coaching process.Both levels will concentrate on developing the coach’s skills of self-learning through asking questions and finding solutions.

Guidance Notes for levels 4 and 5 are available to view here. The purpose of these is to give broad guidance to the development of any qualification or training programme for UKCC endorsement at these levels. The benchmark statements are flexible to allow for the creation of individualised learning programmes that reflect the skills, knowledge and attributes listed for both level 4 and 5.
