LTAD and Integration into the UKCC
Date: Wednesday 21st December
Location: Novotel, Leeds
sports coach UK presented a forum on Long Term Athlete Development and the UKCC. A key focus was on setting the context and importance of Player pathways and their relationship to Coach development pathways.
The morning workshops dealt with UKCC requirements related to LTAD at different levels (focussing on levels 1 - 3) and specific examples from sports regarding their own LTAD developments.
Post lunch a choice of sessions were available, either 'Managing and deploying coaches in relation to LTAD and UKCC' or 'Pathway for Multi-skills coaches', followed by information on the National Competition structure and a look at the bigger LTAD picture - impact on purpose, fit for purpose and whole sport planning.
Presentations from the day are available to view beneath.
