sports coach UK (www.sportscoachuk.org) is the organisation tasked with supporting sports to develop UKCC qualifications.
sports coach UK is a charitable organisation dedicated to the development and implementation of coaches and coaching throughout the UK.
Coaching Steering Board
 This is made up of representatives from DCMS, DfES, devolved administrations, equity partners, sports coach UK, Sport England, UK Sport, SkillsActive and sports.

National Source Group
Each sport involved in Phases 1 and 2 have established a National Source Group to support and drive the development of the UKCC on a UK wide basis. This National Source Group is made up of Home Country Sports Council recognised, governing bodies of sport.
The remit includes:
- Agree the development of sports specific criteria, including:
- sports specific content
- quality assurance measures (delivery & assessment criteria)
- Establish and implement appropriate communication and reporting pathways
- Approve/sign off/forward sports specific qualific
