sports coach UK (www.sportscoachuk.org) is the organisation tasked
with supporting sports to develop UKCC qualifications.
sports coach UK is a charitable organisation dedicated to the development and implementation of coaches and coaching throughout the UK.

  National Source Group

  Each sport involved in Phases 1 and 2 have established a National Source Group to support and drive the development of the UKCC on a UK wide basis. This National Source Group is made up of Home Country Sports Council recognised, governing bodies of sport.

  The remit includes:

  • Agree the development of sports specific criteria, including:
    • sports specific content
    • quality assurance measures (delivery & assessment criteria)
  • Establish and implement appropriate communication and reporting pathways
  • Approve/sign off/forward sports specific qualific
